My inspiration to paint comes from being able to capture detail in all my paintings. I like to paint still life and once I have reproduced the value, lighting, and detail, my paintings look very realistic. It is very rewarding for me to hear comments that my paintings look like photos. I am very appreciative when I receive recognition for the essence of my paintings. My Story
My pursuit for art began after my military service in the U.S Army. I completed art courses at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas. After attending college, I gained practical skills training with Dalhart Windberg in studio art with a focus on realistic painting.
